ROHS standard: Directive 2002/95/EC issued by the European Parliament and the European Council on January 27, 2003 (i.e., the prohibition of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment) has come into force since February 13, 2003, and will be implemented throughout Europe from July 1, 2006.
